International Professional Evaluation and Certification

Recertification is required after the expiration of five years after certification for all levels and domains. It is the responsibility of the certificate holder to initiate the recertification process by applying within a maximum of six months from the date of expiry of the current certificate.
The extension may be obtained by the certification body up to 12 months since the date of expiry of the certificate, with justification. The recertification process verifies whether the candidate has worked in the field of project management in the past five years at the level of competencies for which he/she holds a certificate.
Recertification (recertification) requires scoring of continuous professional development

Completed form for certification and recertification, CV, completed self-assessment form (same as for application for certification) and completed form List of activities of continuous professional development of candidates for recertification purposes
Minimum 35 hours of continuous professional development records during each year (175 hours in total) since the last (re) certification in accordance with IPMA international certification regulations.

Evidence of a minimum of 30 months of practical experience over a five-year period.
Complexity of the project / portfolio / program provided as evidence for a minimum of 30 months over a five-year period (same as for a certification application)
Leading others (for level A or B), or managing others (for level C) in projects for which evidence of a minimum of 30 months is provided
Minimum 35 hours of continuous professional development records during each year (175 hours in total) since the last (re) certification in accordance with IPMA international certification regulations.
