Call for Assessors for IPMA

Individuals interested in becoming an Assessor should apply to a IPC Kosova through email at info@ipcert.com with the following information:

  • CV;
  • additional evidence of their suitability as needed;
  • documentation of their commitment to becoming an Assessor; and
  • two referees to validate the information provided.

General Duties for Assessor

NOTE : IPC Kosova shall assess the suitability of the potential Assessor and, if they meet the criteria, invite them to initial Assessor training. The potential Assessor becomes an NPA after signing a confidentiality agreement.

Assessors shall assess the Candidate’s competence according to the assessment process and procedures defined by the IPC Kosova

International Professional Certification - IPC Presentation

Pristina, 25 March 2015 – International Professional Certification / IPC held a public presentation to students and other interested IPMA Certification candidates. Prof. dr. Edmond Hajrizi (CEO, IPC) once again brought forward the fundamental importance of Project Management competences in nowadays market. He presented the benefits of this certification and the significance of developing project management culture and standards in Albanian speaking regions. Some more stressed issues are listed below.

IPMA certification:

  • creates a portfolio of work that can be used for marketing on a global scale
  • advances individual competence levels
  • provides feedback for improvement
  • increases personal development by using certification levels as 'stepping stones'
  • increases confidence of internal and external clients

The presentation participant’s revealed great interest in this globally known certification since it is a people-based assessment and the appropriate combination of competence areas make IPMA a unique certification. They give a broader picture of each candidate's competency, and enable companies to match the right project manager with the right project based on their strengths.

Each IPMA certification candidate is individually assessed by independent assessors against the   ICB - IPMA Competence Baseline Version 3.0 . In the certification process, individuals demonstrate their competence in managing projects, programmes and portfolios. The assessors will be looking for competence in the following ICB elements:

  • 20 technical competence elements deal with the project management matter, on which the professionals are working;
  • 15 behavioral competence elements deal with the personal relationships between the individuals and groups managed in the projects, programmes and portfolios;
  • 11 contextual competence elements deal with the interaction of the project team within the context of the project and with the permanent organization.  

The interested candidates were noticed for this year’s agenda and certification round which is open until 20 April 2015

IPC participates in the assessment of competence for managing projects in Germany

Pristina, 7 May 2014 - German Organization for Project Management PMZert MPG, which is part of the International Project Management Association (IPMA), has invited President of IPC, Prof.dr. Edmond Hajrizi to be part of the workshop and assessment team for project managers for C and B levels, ZEISS Company in Aalen - Germany.

International Professional Certification - Kosovo Association for Management (KAM- IPC) is representative part of the Republic of Kosovo and its regional neighbors.

This visit is being conducted in the framework of cooperation of IPC- KAM and GPM, and is intended sharing of best practices in achieving certification in greater levels of competence in Kosovo. For the first time in this country, these certifications will be available from the International Professional Certification (IPC).

Prof.dr. Edmond Hajrizi is the first assessor in Kosovo for IPMA based certification in Kosovo, and all Albanian speaking territories.

Part of the team were Mr. Hajrizi- representative of IPC, Prof. Roessler Lead Assesor and Prof. Seilier, the latter in the quality of international assessors of IPMA in Germany.

 

Thanks to the collaboration with GPM, IPC uses German standards and processes in Kosovo. GPM is one of the largest and most respected professional organizations for project management in the global sphere.
